There seems to be a trend with some business that if they just tell their customers, and prospects they can deliver that the customer should just trust them.  Far too often the trusting customer gets burned.  Just because something looks pretty does not mean you will get what you are paying for.

Businesses also need to be careful about being asked to pay for something that does not exist in a product.  If you are in the market for a completely custom solution this would be acceptable. But if you are expecting the product to provide you with some specific value, make sure it does what you expect before committing to the purchase.

Software vendors like to say that no software is completely without bugs.  While this may be true.  If the software does not work as expected it is the software vendors responsibility to make it right.
